Annoying Trend: Speculating that the Recession is Over

“Oh, you’re unemployed and they’re cutting you off because you’ve been on it for so long?”

“I read in the paper that the recession was over a month ago”

I’ve probably read 400 columns over the last 3 months that the recession is over. It’s not. Shut up.
